Getting Started With LecShare

Getting Started

NOTE: The following material was compiled based on the LecShare Documentation.

LecShare is a conversion tool. It is used to created online presentations from PowerPoint presentations. In order to use LecShare, first create a presentation in PowerPoint and then open it into LecShare.

1. Create a presentation in PowerPoint.
2. Save the presentation.
3. Quit PowerPoint.
4. Open the presentation in LecShare

   NOTE: LecShare will warn you to save all work and then close Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word whether or not these programs are open. Even if you are not running any of those applications, the warning will still appear. Make sure you save files and close these programs (if they are open) and then select OK.

Items LecShare Converts

LecShare converts the following items from your PowerPoint presentation:

• Text Boxes
• WordArt
• Images
• AutoShapes
• Tables
• Charts and Graphs created in Microsoft Excel
• Charts and Graphs created in Microsoft Graph (built-in chart/graph maker in PowerPoint)

LecShare does not convert the following items:

• Audio recorded or imported directly into PowerPoint
• Video
• Transitions
• Animations
