WAT for Opera
The Web Accessibility Toolbar (WAT) for Opera has been developed to aid manual examination of web pages for a variety of aspects of accessibility. By referencing the Ten Checkpoints for Accessibility from the CSUN Accessible Technology Initiative Website, the following tools featured by the WAT Toolbar can help with making web pages accessible and compliant.

WAT Toolbar Features
- Validating Web Page
WAT Toolbar -> Validate
Validating a web page using these different tools allows for quick recognition of web pages errors that violate web standards, such as WCAG 1.0 and WCAG 2.0, and web specifications, such as CSS,HTML and P3P. Using different validation tools under the Validate function in the WAT Toolbar allows for these tests to be ran more easily. - Checking for Contrasting Colors
WAT Toolbar -> Colour
Checking to see if there is adequate color contrast is important for manual checking of a web site. The colors used for the foreground and background of a website need to be coordinated in a fashion that allow text to be distinctly recognized. - Checking for Alternative Text for Images
WAT Toolbar -> Images
This toolbar function allows the checking of alternative text for images. Making sure that the alternative text convey the correct meaning and purpose of the image to the web site is very important. - Checking for Flexible Design
WAT Toolbar -> Resize
The ability for a web site to resize text and reflow based upon the user driven needs of on-screen display is an important element in creating an accessible web page. This feature is called creating a liquid layout. Using the WAT Toolbar function of Resize allows for the testing of the liquid layout of a web site.
